<Opening
Concert> Alexander Gavrylyuk Piano Recital[2003.11.9]
Gavrylyuk, the 1st prizewinner of the 4th Competition had an opening
concert. It was held at the memorable Main Hall of Actcity where
he was unanimously awarded 1st prize three years ago.
The tickets had been sold out and after the performance, the enthusiasts
made such a long queue asking for his autograph on the CDs.
Among the audiences, one of the Juries for the 5th Competiton
Mr. A. VARDI (Israel) was founded.
Refer
to the management of this recital, it is collaborated with the
citizens and the students who learn the art management. In the
point of that large scale, this is an unique and original trial
in current Japan.
Welcome
Reception[2003.11.9]
The
welcome reception was held in the evening on 9th.
Following the greeting by Mayer of Hamamatsu City Y. KITAWAKI,
Chairperson of Judgment Committee H. NAKAMURA introduced each
juror with much humor.
The contestants spent a brief peaceful time before the Competition
starts.
