The 2nd day of the 1st Stage.[2003.11.11]

E. CHEREPANOVThe first player for the 2nd day was E. CHEREPANOV (Russia).
"I was very nervous before my turn as usual. But I'm always happy after that. Whatever the performance is, I'm always happy that I've finished it."
The duration of the 1st Stage is twenty minutes. "I chose my short pieces to finish in 20 minutes. The longer ones make the audience get bored. Anyway the jury can judge in first few minutes."
This is the 2nd participation in this Competition as he likes Japan of the different culture. Please join us the next time again!

V. MILOSEVICV. MILOSEVIC(Serbia and Montenegro), first drinking a glass of water and said "I'm still excited. I think I played good enough. I took part in this Competition because I heard its reputation such as the well- organized management, good repertoire and so on. Japan is my new challenge."
His favorite pianist is M. ARGERICH. Actually she just visited here at Hamamatsu to play with the Orchestra last month. "Really?!" He missed it, unfortunately.

D.ONISHCHENKO "I'm just relieved. Anyway it's finished and now I'm going to prepare for the 2nd Stage."
said D.ONISHCHENKO (Ukraine) who has already won some prizes is such as International Tchaikovsky Music Competition 2002.
"I like those three pieces for the 1st Stage very much. They are just like my best friends."
For the 3rd and Final Stage, BRAHMS's pieces are mostly chosen.
He thinks that BRAHMS is full of confidence and very noble. He is fond of the romantic style of the 19th century recently.
